something has gone wrong with my pc, unwated websites pop up on the screen, example antivirus 2009, is poping up and scaning, i havent installed antivirus 2009, i have got norton 2008. What level should I set my internet privacy to. in the tools internet options? right now its accepting all cookies.

internet privacy?

i have often wondered about internet privacy. right now at the moment i am planning a surprise for my girlfriend and am using the internet for a great deal of my research and planning. now im not afraid of any theives stealing my idea!!! my concern is that my girlfriend works in the company we get our internet from. can she see what i am doing on the internet from in work!?
