How can I protect my internet privacy? I want to be able to hide and browse and have complete online privacy?
I do NOT want to delete files. I spend a lot of time browsing and surfing that I want to keep those files. I have heard of file encryption and stuff like that, but is that what I should be doing? I want to hide my files on my harddrive and have them secured somewhere.

You should go ahead and download some software. That is the easiest way as opposed to renaming files and doing all that. It will take you forever if you have a large volume of things you need to secure. Free softwares will work, BUT they are relatively cheap anyway and you get added protection by spending like 20 or 30 bucks. I use PrivacyView. It protects all my files and has a crap load of features. I have tried quite a few and I found that as far as Internet privacy software goes…..I will be only using PrivacyView
