Both parties let us down, but how do we stop the loss of personal liberties, privacy, and the right to be left alone by the government…its like the constitution doesn’t mean anything to those in power (Congress violates their oaths all the time) and states are subservient to DC?

Violation of Privacy statement?

Ok, so I have a personal dispute with an employee of a local car dealership. To make a long story short he thinks I owe him money from a place I used to rent from him, and I dont, even the court said so, so he’s pissed. He confrounts me everytime I see him in public (small town) and I even changed my phone number to stop the calls. The car dealership is owned by his Grandfather. A few weeks back I did an online application for a car loan/quote from the dealership. I know it wasnt the best idea but it’s a rural area and there arent really any others. It clearly stated in the dealer’s online website privacy statement that any personal info I gave (phone numbers, address, email addy, ect) would ONLY be used for the purpose of getting me a loan/quote. It also states that no employee of the dealership is allowed to use my personal info for their own personal use. So, i filled that out a few weeks ago and a couple days ago I get an email from this guy. Then phone calls. He even admitted to me that he got my info from that application. This is clearly a violation of the dealerships privacy policy and a violation of my privacy period. I am very upset about this. I have called the police to report the harrassment but they said to just start keeping emails or whatever and let them know if it continues. I also called the owner of the dealership, but since he is the guy’s grandfather I doubt he will do anything. Has anyone had experine with a company breaking your privacy rights? I do not think the dealership should get away with it. What should I do? What am I compensated to? ( and no Im not looking for a way to weasel money out of anyone or anythig like that). I did file a complaint with the better business bureau today online but that will take a few days to go through. Any advice or ideas will be much appreaciated. Thank you
in response to the second answer down, I realise that it’s not a "contract" but privacy policies are supposed to be there for a reason…if companies can get away with that..why even bother having the privacy policy in the first place? Also, does anyone know of a good lawyer for something like this? I live in Vermont
also, got another email at about 10 am this morning from this guy saying that he’ll see to it that i never get a car loan from anyone (i know he cant do that, but still)…also he said in the email that he knows where i live so watch it

I need a little info here if anyone has it. I’ve tried looking it up on the internet w Google but can’t find what I need. I live in MN and I work at a Battered Women’s Shelter. I have a very nice client who lives at a Boarding Home and her rights are being violated and they’re breaking the rules I know they are! My client was beaten severely and has Traumatic Brain Injury. Today the owner tried to withhold her cough med with Codeine. She has pneumonia! She ended up taking the bottle and leaving. They distribute their Boarder’s meds to them daily. She has Herpes that she had gotten from her cheating husband and the owner of the Home told a few of the men there not to go near her because she has them. That is her private business! He also will yell at her and make a fool of her in front of other people who live there. He humiliates her to no end. She cries all the time and stays with her abusive daughter because she doesn’t wanna go home!
This place has 9 "real" bedrooms and there are about 15 people who live there. There are 3 bathrooms one with a tub. There are three people in one room, but some of the Boarders have a space but there’s a sheet hanging around them like it’s a bedroom. Don’t they need to have a private space- an actual bedroom with a door? She pays 0. to live there. Some people even pay more than that! Part of that includes their laundry washed, dried and folded. Her laundry many times has been thrown on to her bed half wet. Sometimes their are dirty clothes even mixed in! They eat what is made for them and there’s a lock on the fridge so they can’t just snack when they want. What they do have for snacks if they want to "munch" like we all do sometimes, is day old donuts they get for free from the grocery store! There is NEVER fresh fruit sitting out for them to eat. They can buy their own food and get a key to the fridge but food is part of their VERY high rent. One other thing is, the owners don’t care, they just want their money. There is an old man there that sleeps behind a sheet and he stinks! He needs to be in a nursing home. He was in the smoking room yesterday and suddenly everyone smelled something. He was sitting on the chair pooping and peeing in his pants. The chair sat there filthy for hours! He has diapers but doesn’t usually wear them. They’ve tried to tell the owners but they do nothing about it. It’s so unsanitary. I’ve used the bathroom there and it’s always got poop all over the back of the seat. It’s disgusting! Something has to be done! Does anyone know more about the rights of these people who live there? Her life has been affected so badly by her beating and she moved here thinking it would be better but her rights and privacy and personal well-being is violated all the time!

Your business is still running and your money is going into
the bankaccount.
What happens when you get sentenced?
Does your money stop coming? Is the account frozen?
Or you just lose the money?
I want to know that if when you get out, will that money still be there?

What is the legal consequence of a yahoo employee using secure info of another user for personal advantage?

The case involves a question/answer user in Yahoo Answers. The employee of Yahoo looks up secure information of the user and uses info to harrass or make threats. If people disagree, he, as a computer tech inside, suspends the account. Please address privacy and civil rights.

What's easy and safe to invest in with residual income?

I’m looking for something that is easy and safe to invest in with a residual income that has a reasonable return. Anything like stocks or mutuals require you to sell before you realize a return, unless you are lucky enough to get something at the end of the year. Bank investments such as cds, bonds, etc, require waiting a long time before they are worth the face value, and the return rate is horrible. Savings and money market accounts are good as they provide that residual income each month, but the rate these days is a joke. About 5 years ago or so Pay Pal had their money market account which was earning about 7% so a person’s return wasn’t so bad, but now it’s .05%.
Does anybody have any information or help they can offer? Please, no responses of seeking a broker, professional, or my banker.

…prefer to live your life without fear and paranoia instilled by the media and by politicians because you know that any means of transportation or even walking down the street can have any number of risks if there is a killer or killers who happen to be at the same place? Even a random accident could happen.
Since these risks have always existed and still exist, wouldn’t you rather just live your life with freedom and dignity? Or do you rather have both taken away because of cowardice–and NOT be any safer than you were before as was proven?
How would the "terrorists" react to seeing you willingly accept body searches, x-ray scans, water and other confiscation of personal property, and 2-3 hour waits in line? Would they laugh at their victory in making your fearful and changing America into a police state?

I have joined, succeed temporarily and looked at a lot of Multi Level companies and they all fail unless I work my #@$ off! Many people say sell vitamins, insutrance etc… but there are so many vitamins and stuff of better quality and cheaper in health food stores and competitors around. And this goes for many other products… being More expensive with Network marketing companies. So…. I am looking for a way to make residual income so I can work one time and get paid over and over again. Any ideas?

Were my Hippa Rights and or Family Rights and Privacy violated?

I am over the age of 21 now, as a child when I was in school I was labeled as emotional disturbed due to my family situation. I was sexually abused and had a hard time dealing with all that happened. I was never a danger to myself or anyone else, i just was very reserved and did not speak a lot to adults. I did however speak to the school psychologist because I was ordered to due so. So she knows of all of my school records, family history and all the details that I disclosed to her.
Well as I said I am now over the age of 21 and have obtained the job as child mentor, I went in this field because I want to help children over come whatever situations that they are in, just like I was helped. (Not by the school psych mind you.) But as it works out I work in the same school district as him, and the child that I mentor is also under his case load. The psych has taken it upon himself to tell other teachers, and the principal of the school, that and I quote… "Should not be working with any kids, can not possibly help any of them. That I was emotionally disturbed in school, and had a lot of trouble in school. And that he doesn’t want me working with any children." Even though this has been almost 10 years ago, that I was even in this school district. His words have traveled all the way to social services (for whom I work) and all the way down to my boss. He was told the situation by his boss. Thank God they are not firing me or anything like that, but because of this psychologist everyone that I work with and that works with this child knows my personal childhood and school issues. I am just so hurt because all of my re-pore that I have been building for the last to years is tarnished. I feel that all I have is what people think of me.
What I want to know is:
1.) Have my rights been violated? He told my personal school Information to other people which have now resulted in my employers finding out.
2.) I am over the age of 21, does that mean that he can give out that info now?
3.) If my rights were violated what can I do about it?

Invasion of personal privacy by controlling parents?

Ahh…where to begin. Well first let me start off and say that I’m 20 years old and pretty calm compared to today’s standards. I’m in school for nursing, I don’t drink or do drugs and I’m still a virgin. I’ve never done anything that I regret or even given my parents and single doubt that they shouldn’t trust me.
Since about 5th grade, I have been keeping a journal. When writing I can truly express how I’m feeling and all the drama surrounding my life. I’ve never been so good with telling people my feelings or even showing them. That’s why I enjoyed writing so much, it was one of the only things that made me happy.
In my journal I’ve written about every aspect of my life. From school, work, crushes, boyfriends and even sexual relationships that I’ve had. In particular, I’ve started getting close with a friend who I’ve known for about two years. In my journal I’ve talked about dating him and our first kiss and things we’ve done in the sexual aspect of it.
Well turns out my step-dad has been going into my room and reading my journals, going through my cell phone and just down right invading my privacy in every single way imaginable. It gets way worse though… Not only has he been reading about the guy I’m seeing now and the things I’ve done with him but he’s going to my mother and telling her that he’s hearing people talk about me. When in reality its just him reading my stuff.
I’m so lost and confused and hurt. I don’t see how he can read my stuff and then have the nerve and look me at me in the eye everyday and act as if everything is normal. What do I do?? I want to talk to them and tell them it’s wrong for going through my stuff. But I know he’ll bring up the things I’ve done with my bf. Which in all honestly, I’m 20, I’ve known my bf for 2yrs, it’s not like I’m some easy whore. I care about him and he feels the same. But it’s embarrassing knowing that he knows everything about my life. My life is my life, for me to live.

Residual Income earning opportunity with zero investment? I need your expert guidance! ?

Having explored some residual income earning opportunities such online publishing and blogging, I am feeling that I lack that so much needed guidance on how to actually get started (with preferred step by step instructions) and then how to make sure that I really earn some decent money, too.
For example, I have come across the people who say that they are making money by writing the blogs on their favourite topics. Also, there are people who say they are making money by simply writing articles online.
Anyway, I have realized that I need a thorough instructions on how to actually pick up the right keywords, how to find out on the popularity of certain topics, the basic necessary knowledge on SEO (making sure that my articles are highly ranked and seen on top of the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc), how to set up the links on my other personalized web pages, how to set up the AdSense ads in order for me to make the real money, etc.
Should you know any other residual income earning opportunity on top of the above mentioned (writing articles and blogging), I would greatly appreciate it if you could recommend me the ones that you certainly know are reliable sources for making some decent cash.

Invasion of personal privacy by controlling parents?

Ahh…where to begin. Well first let me start off and say that I’m 20 years old and pretty calm compared to today’s standards. I’m in school for nursing, I don’t drink or do drugs and I’m still a virgin. I’ve never done anything that I regret or even given my parents and single doubt that they shouldn’t trust me.
Since about 5th grade, I have been keeping a journal. When writing I can truly express how I’m feeling and all the drama surrounding my life. I’ve never been so good with telling people my feelings or even showing them. That’s why I enjoyed writing so much, it was one of the only things that made me happy.
In my journal I’ve written about every aspect of my life. From school, work, crushes, boyfriends and even sexual relationships that I’ve had. In particular, I’ve started getting close with a friend who I’ve known for about two years.
